Class description:

Leaders at the best emergency communications centers don’t necessarily have a title, but they conduct themselves in a different way. With emotional intelligence, these team members are better able to get what they want and are more effective at empowering others around them. This class outlines the power of an emotionally intelligent approach to leading from wherever you are, and it offers specific ways to improve your center’s morale and boost retention, whether you’re a supervisor, lead dispatcher or someone with leadership potential.

In this class you’ll learn how to:

• Embody the habits of a successful leader
• Identify your personal approach to being a leader
• Diagnose and address to biggest challenges your team is facing
• Create an action plan for improving your center’s culture
